The THE 150 under 50 {rank|standing|positioning} examines universities' performance in five areas of {advanced schooling|degree} excellence: teaching, research, {details|info|references}, industry income and international outlook.

Professor Parker said he was pleased to see that despite being a very young {organization|establishment|company}, the University's growing reputation in research and education as well as {the|their|it is} increasing international outlook are being recognised globally.

 The University of Canberra has operated as an {university or college|college or university|school} for only 25 years, after it was {founded|set up|proven} through the Dawkins higher education reforms to replace the Canberra College of Advanced Education.

In 2015/16, the University of Canberra has:

entered the QS rankings of University's under age 50 in the 91-100 band;
appeared for the first time in the THE World {Ratings|Ranks|Search positions} (out of 800 institutions) in the 501-600 {music group|strap|group}; and

climbed 100 places in the QS world university rankings into the 551-600 band.

Professor Parker, who will be {moving|walking|going} down as Vice-Chancellor in July, noted that {he is|your dog is|she has} delighted to be {departing|giving|going out of} the University in such a strong position.
